About Us
Our story
Snyman Attorneys was established at the dawn of South Africa’s democracy in 1994. We were not intimidated by the metamorphosis of our country, we embraced it, and grew with it into one of the most prominent law firms in South Africa. Snyman Attorneys was originally established in January 1994 by its three founding partners Snyman, Van de Heever and Heyns, with the purpose of providing legal services based solely on labour-related concerns from the outset.
In 1995, a significant shift in employment law saw the newly rooted Snyman Attorneys become actively involved in the formation of LabourNet, a key provider of labour management solutions. From this association, Snyman Attorneys formed a close partnership with LabourNet in which Snyman Attorneys now acts as the labour litigation service provider to LabourNet’s industrial relations support department.
